Family was the reason Jason started his removals company back in 2006, and family is what drives everything he does today.

From humble beginnings as a man with a van, Jason has grown J Middleton & Sons to a thriving business with a fleet of removals vehicles, and over 50 members of staff.

With a strong management team, and two of his sons now joining the business, Jason prides himself on providing a quality removals experience. The secret to Jason’s success is doing a great job for customers and treating their house move like he would for a member of his own family.

It’s this caring and personalised approach that keeps customers coming back and recommending J Middleton & Sons as the removals company of choice in West Yorkshire.

Lynsey joined the company in 2014 after she had her youngest child. Since then, she and Jason have worked hard to grow the thriving business Jason started back in 2006.

Together, they’ve seen their Wakefield removals company expand to employ over 50 staff, with a fleet of close to 20 trucks and vans.

Lynsey specialises in overseeing the office, with a focus on HR, accounts and admin management.

Job satisfaction for Lynsey comes from getting great feedback from happy customers. It’s what makes her look forward to getting to work every day.

Paul Phillips

Paul is one of two removals coordinators we have here at J Middleton. He joined in 2016, and has a strong background in customer service and retail.

He’ll meet clients in their homes to view their belongings, and talk them through the process, providing a free, no-obligation quote.

After booking, Paul is your single point of contact for your house move. He’s on hand throughout. And there’s no such thing as a silly question. If you want to know what kind of boxes we’ll use to pack up your belongings, or how many members of staff will be there on moving day, or anything else at all about your move, Paul can tell you.

Louise works in the office, and she’s Lynsey’s sister and Jason’s sister-in-law. She joined us in 2015, and has been a fantastic addition to the team.

She loves the friendly working environment, and getting to work with family is a huge bonus.

And dealing with all our lovely customers gives Louise great job satisfaction. All the positive feedback is a real boost.

With a background in retail, David came to J Middleton & Sons in 2019, but he and Jason go way back. David loves the blend of the strong work ethic with the family-centred ethos staff get here.
